Case Study Nautica Charters

Nautica Charters is a locally owned and operated boat charter company. Owner and captain, Jeff, has worked with Bloom Digital for many years on his other business, U R Safe, and in July 2025, came to us for a new website, SEO, and paid advertising to grow his boat charter business.

In just three months, Nautica Charters has gone from zero non-branded organic traffic and paying booking agents a 30% fee for bookings to generating over 75 parties, tours and cruises booked direct.

Website

Nautica Charters’ existing website was outdated, overly simple, and missing critical information. With owner Jeff wanting us to run Google Ads to the site, we advised a rebuild would be necessary to deliver the results he was looking for. Once he agreed, we got to work quickly building a brand new WordPress website, including:

• Minimum viable pages to go live, including Home, About, Services, and Contact
• Integrating a booking plugin for users to book direct (avoiding the booking fee payable to external agents)
• Using SEO best practices to optimise the site for organic rankings while aligning messaging and keywords for Google Ads

Using the existing brand, our talented designers created a newer, more modern experience. This was combined with copywriting that is not only optimised for search engines, but captures interest through familiar, fun language and plenty of imagery.

The result has been incredible, with Nautica’s new custom WordPress website design showing off the boat in its best light, generating increased bookings directly with the company.

Additional Extras

Once the site launched, we were also tasked with recreating Nautica’s catering menu into an attractive PDF, and adding this to the site. The result was a professional, easy to read menu that helps customers through their decision making process.
